DreamScape Community Content & Creator Rights Policy

1. Purpose

This policy governs all content uploaded to or distributed through official DreamScape online services, including the Shared Character Library and any future DreamScape community services.

Its purpose is to promote creativity, respect creators, and establish community rules for uploaded content regardless of how copyright or AI-generated content is treated under applicable law.

2. Respect for Creators

DreamScape is built around sharing creative work.

When another creator uploads content to the Shared Character Library, they are choosing to share their work with the community—not to surrender it.

Users are expected to respect the time, creativity, and effort invested by other creators.

3. Uploading Your Own Content

You should only upload content that:

• You created.
• You have permission to upload.
• You are legally permitted to distribute.

You are responsible for ensuring your uploads comply with applicable law and DreamScape policies.

4. Using Shared Content

Unless the creator clearly grants additional permission, downloading shared content grants permission to use that content within DreamScape for personal enjoyment.

It does not automatically grant permission to:

• Reupload the content elsewhere.
• Claim authorship.
• Sell or license the content.
• Compile another creator's work into collections.
• Monetize another creator's DreamScape content.
• Remove or alter creator attribution where provided.

5. AI-Generated Content

AI-generated content presents unique legal questions.

DreamScape does not guarantee that any uploaded content qualifies for copyright protection in any jurisdiction.

For purposes of DreamScape's official services, the original uploader is presumed to be the creator of the uploaded work unless credible evidence indicates otherwise.

These community rules apply regardless of whether copyright law provides exclusive protection.

6. Commercial Use

Creators may monetize content they personally create, subject to applicable law and the terms of any AI models, image generators, video generators, music generators, or other tools they used.

Users may not commercially exploit another creator's uploads without that creator's permission or another valid legal basis.

7. Attribution

If content includes creator information, attribution, or profile information, it must not be intentionally removed, falsified, or misrepresented when redistribution is otherwise permitted.

8. Reports

Users may report uploads they believe:

• Copy another creator's work.
• Falsely claim authorship.
• Violate DreamScape policies.
• Infringe legal rights.
• Were uploaded without permission.

Submitting a report does not automatically establish ownership or infringement.

9. Moderator Actions

The DreamScape Project may:

• Remove uploads.
• Restore creator attribution.
• Suspend or revoke uploading privileges.
• Suspend or terminate access to official online services.
• Request additional information regarding ownership or permission.

Moderation decisions are made using available evidence and DreamScape policies and do not constitute a legal determination of copyright ownership.

10. Repeat Violations

Users who repeatedly upload copied, misappropriated, or unauthorized content may permanently lose access to the Shared Character Library or other DreamScape online services.

Our Goal

The Shared Character Library exists so creators can share their work with confidence.

Whether content is hand-made, AI-assisted, or AI-generated, DreamScape expects every community member to respect the effort of fellow creators, obtain permission where appropriate, and help maintain a fair and welcoming creative community.
